Sonny92 This is True Doom with a capital "D" and exactly what I look for in a doom metal release. Gargantuan riffs built on solid foundation slabs laid down by the bass and drums and mournful vocals that hint at a darkness from beyond our knowing. The first two tracks are sung in the band's native Spanish which, unfortunately, I don't speak, but the great thing is, this doesn't matter because the language of doom is universal. Favorite track: Centuries of Darkness.

Arkham Witch is so talented this doesn't even sound like a single band's album, sounds more like a label's compilation CD of ten bands. I hear Pentagram and Witchfinder General, peak 80s Maiden is all over Phantom Bowmen. Crom's Mountain is a beast of epic matal. And Lord of R'lyeh is unlike anything- fun upbeat Cthulhu rocker that oozes southern evangelical worship music. Fucking bonkers album 5/5 by a mile. Colin & Jacki
